Karan Johar’s big budgeted film Takht that brings a Mughal Era dispute on screens has been shelved. Ranveer was supposed to play the lead role of Dara Shukoh alongside a splendid starcast.
Shankar’s Anniyan was set for a Hindi remake with Ranveer Singh in lead but recently this film has also been shelved. On top of this, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra that has been in news for many years is not going on floors anytime soon.

Even Don 3 which was undergoing it’s shooting has been put on hold. Director Farhan Akhtar has his own acting commitments due to which Ranveer has to wait a bit more for this film to finish.
It seems like this might be the best opportunity for him to embrace fatherhood to the fullest. But it’s pretty obvious that trouble on the professional front might bother him for a while.
