Until recently, it seemed like Trivikram was the clear choice to direct Allu Arjun’s next film. However, with Atlee’s name suddenly resurfacing, speculation is running wild. Fans are now debating who will helm Bunny’s next big project.
Atlee has long been in the picture. But when rumors emerged about him collaborating with Salman Khan, many assumed he had shifted focus to Bollywood. However, the project with Salman appears to be in trouble due to budget constraints.

With an estimated ₹400 crore cost, most production houses are hesitant to back it. Sun Pictures has already distanced itself from the film. Jio Studios, after suffering a ₹100-crore loss on Baby John, has also backed out.
This is an unreal downfall for Salman who was the most consistent superstar from 2010 to 2017. However, in the last 8 years he has only delivered disasters including some of the biggest flops like Tiger 3, Dabangg 3, Bharat, and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.

So, Atlee’s film with Salman Khan is out of the question now. This has reignited talks of Atlee joining hands with Bunny instead.
Interestingly, reports suggest that Atlee’s script for Salman was one that Bunny had previously rejected. This initially made it seem like Trivikram had a clear path. But with Atlee’s Bollywood plans on shaky ground, he’s now being reconsidered.
