In the early hours of Wednesday, India launched a fierce counter-terror operation called Operation Sindoor, targeting multiple terror camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

The coordinated missile strikes, executed by the Indian Army and Air Force, came in direct response to the horrific Pahalgam attack that took the lives of 26 innocent civilians.

Nine terror camps were reportedly destroyed, including the main Lashkar-e-Taiba training base. The armed forces acted with precision and intent.

While the nation lauded the bravery and precision of its armed forces, somehow, in the middle of a national security response, the question on some people’s minds was why hadn’t the Khans of Bollywood said anything.

Several actors and celebrities took to social media to salute the Indian military for its decisive response. However, fans have been targeting those celebrities who haven’t voiced anything about the attack.

Many social media users have been targeting Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan for not sharing their thoughts on the incident.

It is absolutely disgusting that people demand these actors, just because of their religion, to constantly prove their loyalty to the country.

SRK, Aamir Khan, and Salman Khan shouldn’t have to repeatedly validate their patriotism.

It’s frustrating that their contributions to Indian cinema and society are often overlooked in such moments, and instead, they face unwarranted criticism, especially when their silence is misinterpreted as disloyalty.

These actors have consistently represented India on the global stage, making significant contributions to the nation’s culture and pride.

No one asks Prabhas his take on national matters, so why should they ask the Khans? In fact, Prabhas doesn’t raise his voice about anything concerning national matters, which should be targeted more. But they just don’t because of his religion.

The mentality that celebrities must prove their patriotism based on their religion reflects a deeply troubling trend in our society- one that ties personal belief and civic worth to faith, rather than to actions.

It’s a harmful mindset that lessens the achievements of individuals who have already given so much to the country through entertainment, philanthropy, and influence.
