For instance, his blockbuster film Khatta Meetha was a remake of the Malayalam film Vellanakalude Nadu, which was also directed by Priyadarshan.
As he has given several hits by adapting from his old projects, it seems another director duo is carving out the same formula for success.

Renowned filmmakers Raj & Dk have been a part of some splendid projects over the years including Stree, The Family Man and Farzi.
It appears that the duo also adapts several ideas from old films and series and presents it in an advanced way in front of the viewers.

As it stands, The Family Man’s concept is heavily inspired by the Telugu film PSV GarudaVega. The filmmaker duo have reportedly taken ideas and plots from the Telugu film and built their world of The Family Man.
Their highly acclaimed work in Stree has gained them a huge following. The duo showcased the concept of ‘O Stree Kal Aana’ in the film.
This idea was taken from a Telugu concept meaning the same thing. While the film was not fully copied, some excerpts and instances might have been inspired by South Indian cinema.
As Raj & Dk continue to grow each year, their popularity is off the charts with their commendable work.
