Nani’s The Paradise is facing another round of backlash after its Netflix premiere. The film received negative reactions during its theatrical run, with excessive violence emerging as one of the major complaints. Now, OTT viewers are taking that trolling to the next level, and Mahesh Babu’s son Gautam Ghattamaneni has added more fuel with his latest review.
Gautam, who is reportedly a big fan of Nani and his films like Jersey, watched The Paradise after its Netflix release and gave it just one star on Letterboxd. He appreciated the cinematography and the acting in the emotional scenes but was disappointed with almost everything else.
He also criticised the editing, calling it very poor, and said the film left him deeply disappointed. The rating has attracted attention because it is reportedly the lowest rating he has given to a Nani film.
Gautam maintains a Letterboxd profile linked through his Instagram bio, where he rates films, including those starring his father.
His review has now gone viral on social media, with many agreeing that it echoes the sentiments of viewers who disliked The Paradise and came away disappointed.
