Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha tied the knot on September 24, 2023, at The Leela Palace, Udaipur in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony.
Not even 1.5 years later, people have started thinking she is ‘unlucky’ for Raghav because his party lost in the recent Delhi elections.
The 2025 Delhi elections were nothing short of thrilling.
The BJP came out victorious in the assembly polls and the little difference in vote share percentage highlighted the tough competition given by AAP to the opposition.
Although BJP emerged victorious in 48 seats and AAP secured wins in 22 constituencies.
Raghav Chadha has been a part of the Aam Aadmi Party since its inception and is now the National Executive & National Spokesperson for the party.
After the loss of AAP recently, online trolls have begun targeting Parineeti, labelling her as ‘unlucky’ for her husband.
This blame game is deeply rooted in the outdated mindset of people that most of the time women are responsible for a man’s failures.
Raghav Chadha, like any other politician, is accountable for his party’s strategies, decisions, and performance.
The outcome of an election is influenced by political campaigns, governance, public sentiment, and opposition tactics. It has nothing to do with his marriage to Parineeti.
Yet, the internet is flooded with comments suggesting that Parineeti’s presence in Raghav’s life has negatively impacted his political career.
Parineeti is a successful woman and her marriage should not be dragged into politics.
It’s high time we stop making baseless accusations about women. The focus of people should be completely on governance and leadership instead of on her marriage.
