
Ranbir Kapoor has a long list of films on the way, including Ramayana, which will arrive in two separate installments. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, it is one of the most ambitious projects that would feature grand visuals with some amazing VFX.
Ramayana is currently in the filming process and as per the latest update, the producers are planning to bring an experience similar to Oppenheimer and Forrest Gump.

Producer Namit Malhotra said in a recent interview that the subject can reach out to all kinds of audiences around the world, adding that he has a huge responsibility to bring a new kind of cinema to the global stage.
He mentioned that the entire team is being careful so that the mistakes committed in projects like Adipurush are not repeated in any manner. Namit mentioned that everyone is working hard without compromising on anything since it is an opportunity that they would not get for another time.

Notably, Namit has been associated with DNEG for a long time, which emphasizes visual effects and animation work. He also established Prime Focus back in 1997, which has also been involved in the VFX work of big blockbusters made on an international level, including Star Wars.
Considering that Namit is a part of such a big company, it can be said that Ramayana will be a completely different experience for the theatre-going audiences.

But at the same time, it is doubtful whether viewers are interested in watching this subject again, specifically after the result of Adipurush. Just because there is Ranbir Kapoor in the lead does not mean that success is 100% guaranteed, even if the film is authentic.
With only a year left for release, it will be interesting to see if Ramayana emerges as a big blockbuster or if it ends up wasting the money invested in it over the years.
