Abhishek Bachchan’s next film Be Happy is scheduled to arrive on Amazon Prime Video on March 14, 2025. The film is helmed by Remo D’Souza and the popular choreographer has recently responded to the rumors related to the film’s main storyline.
The film will focus on the relationship between a father and a daughter, and Remo confirmed in an interview that it is not the same film on a similar theme that he had planned with Salman Khan a few years ago.

Back in 2017, Remo had approached Salman with a script and its working title was Dancing Dad. While the project did not materialize, Remo clarified that Abhishek’s film is completely new and different, with an original story, adding that the script he took to Salman is still with the superstar.
Speaking about Be Happy, Remo said that the main character of the upcoming film is the same as his father and that it is going to feature some new elements that Remo had not attempted in the past.

Remo narrated a script to Salman almost eight years ago and it looks like Salman did the best thing by not agreeing to do the film until today. Everyone knows Remo’s track record as a director, with Race 3 being one of his worst films.
Abhishek Bachchan’s career seemingly finished many years ago and this is one of the reasons why he is switching to OTT. It remains to be seen if people would accept him in Be Happy or he has to move on to other regional films to play lead characters in the upcoming years.
