
The news of Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan being attacked and admitted to the hospital is making all the headlines. His health is reported to be stable by doctors. He is now out of danger and might be discharged in a day or two.
Meanwhile, the police investigation into the case has intensified. The Crime Branch has formed ten teams to search for the accused.

Famous Police officer Daya Nayak, a well-known encounter specialist, was seen visiting Saif’s residence and gathering details about the incident. The video of his visit is currently going viral on social media.
Daya Nayak was born in Udupi, Karnataka, into a Konkani-speaking family. He studied up to the 7th grade locally, and then his family moved to Mumbai in 1979 for better job opportunities.

While working in a hotel, he completed his 12th grade at a local municipal school. He later graduated in C.E.S. from a college in Andheri.
Driven by his dream of becoming a police officer, Daya Nayak joined the Mumbai police force in 1995 after clearing the state police exam and was posted as a Sub-Inspector at the Juhu Police Station.

At the time Daya Nayak joined, Mumbai was plagued by underworld activities, including murders, drug trafficking, and hawala operations.
In 1996, after killing two members of the Chhota Rajan gang, Daya Nayak’s name became well-known both among the public and in the police department.
He is reported to have encountered nearly 80 criminals linked to the underworld network.
Daya Nayak gained even more fame as an encounter specialist, although his name was also associated with controversy in a disproportionate assets case, leading to an arrest by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).
In 2012, he returned to duty as Additional Commissioner (West). Now, his involvement in the investigation of Saif Ali Khan’s attack has sparked interest.
Daya Nayak’s life story has also inspired several films in both Hindi and Telugu including Ab Tak Chhappan.
