Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently made his podcast debut in a candid and heartfelt conversation on his nephew Arhaan Khan’s YouTube channel, Dumb Biryani.

Salman opened up about how important it is to have genuine people in one’s life and what he went through when he was starting off in the acting field.

Salman narrated how, during the making of “Maine Pyaar Kiya,” financial crunch was threatening him to the core. Recalling a close friend from that period, he said, this friend lent him ₹15,000-a good amount then-since he was badly in need during the financial crunch.

It has left an imprint on Salman’s mind, marking out the true quality of unwavering support and loyalty.

But not every friendship has survived the rigors of time. Some of Salman’s close friends, he claims, have turned against him and stabbed him in the back. He has a strong principle that determines when to say goodbye to unsustainable friendships.

A real friend will never seek any gain, he adds, saying, “you cannot trust a guy who has to gain from being your friend.”.

He further accentuates that whoever breaks your trust again and again should be moved on from. Still, Salman holds no grudges and sees that another man has another life with different perspectives.
