Raja Kumari said in the latest conversation that a representative from T-Series reportedly told her a few years ago that she could not sing a song because she was a woman and the person playing the lead in the film was a man.

Notably, Raja Kumari credited Shah Rukh Khan, saying that although the alleged words of the representative left her heartbroken, SRK was the one who selected her for the theme song of Jawan. She even called it an example of empowerment.
