Singer Raja Kumari created headlines for some claims she made in a recent interview. While Raja Kumari has already become a popular face among the audience for her rapping skills, there was a time when her skills were not given a lot of importance.
Raja Kumari said in the latest conversation that a representative from T-Series reportedly told her a few years ago that she could not sing a song because she was a woman and the person playing the lead in the film was a man.

Notably, Raja Kumari credited Shah Rukh Khan, saying that although the alleged words of the representative left her heartbroken, SRK was the one who selected her for the theme song of Jawan. She even called it an example of empowerment.
The theme song of the action-drama was played in the trailer and most of the sequences of the film, bringing a different kind of feeling for those who were watching it on the big screen.

While Bollywood has been frequently targeted for giving more chances to nepo-kids, it has seemingly turned out to be true that artists who are talented and have the best skills are sometimes ignored. The above-mentioned matter can be described as a case of discrimination.
The film industry is a place where a concept like discrimination should never exist. It is a place where people work together without caring about each other’s background.
