Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film King is being filmed without any pause and delays. As per the latest update, the Europe schedule is supposed to start towards the end of next month, and multiple locations have been chosen for the same.
Notably, director Siddharth Anand is aiming to bring some stunning sequences and has told his team to search for local spots that has never been seen by anyone else.
Meanwhile, the Europe locations that are selected for filming include Budapest, Prague, and Berlin. The chase sequences will be filmed in these particular spots and apart from this, indoor crowd scenes are expected to be shot in the next few weeks to fill the plot gaps without the need of the entire crew.
Considering the new update, it seems like King will arrive as scheduled in 2026. Although a specific release date is yet to be confirmed, the makers are not expected to delay the film for any reason.
With an ensemble cast, including SRK’s daughter Suhana, King is supposed to be an event that will be celebrated by the superstar’s fans all around India in all the theatres when it is released. However, there is still a little bit of fear that things might not turn out to be as good as per expectations.
The biggest fear right now is the makers decision to cast so many actors in the film. There is no doubt that each of them is talented. But their screen space and the importance their characters would get until the end of the film is being questioned by a lot of people.
On the other hand, if the content is up to the mark and has the potential to entertain audiences, people might ignore the other negative points of the film. But this will entirely depend on the promotional material in the form of a poster, teaser, and trailer.
Let’s wait and see if King can leave a positive impression and turn out to be a big blockbuster in 2026, collecting more than Rs. 1,000 crores at the box office like Pathaan and Jawan.
