Taapsee Pannu has once again opened up about the realities of Bollywood, sharing an incident where a male co-star allegedly influenced the change of her much-loved introduction scene in a film.
The actress revealed that she had agreed to the project partly because of her powerful entry sequence. She loved the way her character was introduced and felt the scene had the impact she wanted. But later, the makers changed the sequence, giving the hero an equal presence and a bigger role in the introduction. According to Taapsee, the hero wanted to be included in the grand, expensive setup because he felt he should also have a significant part in that moment.
Taapsee said she was shocked when she discovered the change and questioned the director about why she was not informed. The director’s response became a “harsh reality check” for her, as she realised how decisions could sometimes be taken without involving the actor whose scene was being altered.
However, Taapsee did not reveal the name of the actor or the film, leaving fans and social media users curious. Many are now trying to guess who this hero could be. Is it someone she worked with in Bollywood or one of her earlier South Indian films? The mystery continues.
