TVF has joined Ekta Kapoor to enter a completely new genre with The Vvaan. The upcoming film features Siddharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead roles. A release date of September 25, 2026, has been locked for now, and the teaser is already out.
Although the premise looks interesting, netizens said that the visuals are not up to the mark. Most of them said that the excessive use of AI can be spotted in a few shots, and the makers should have taken better options, considering the theme.
A particular section is still praising the film, saying that this will be a new experience for TVF and the company can continue it if this one works at the box office in any manner. Some even claimed that it can be considered the Kantara, Hanu Man, or Karthikeya 2 of Bollywood.
On the other hand, people wrote on social media that the premise and setting bring the vibes of Stree 2 and Maa. Apart from all these, netizens are not so impressed with Siddharth.
They said that although he looks good when he is doing action, the same cannot be said about his expressions on screen, which look wooden. A similar opinion was shared for Tamannaah, with viewers saying that although she is looking beautiful, the director has seemingly not used her potential, due to which she does not get a chance to shine properly in the trailer.
As of now, netizens are saying that the only thing that can save the show right now is the writing, which has always been one of the biggest highlights of TVF. The divine angle is expected to pull audiences, only if the theme has been presented in a different manner and is expected to bring goosebumps among the audience.
Moreover, TVF lacks the experience of making such films. Since this is the first time that TVF is stepping into a different zone, doubts remain about how successful they are going to be in executing the subject.
The release date is also a problem since it will arrive a few days before Drishyam 3, which has created a lot of buzz. With a lot of red flags appearing for now, let’s see if Vvaan will survive at the box office for a long time.
