A joint venture between Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment and JA Entertainment is all set for the release of Vedaa this independence day. The Nikhil Advani directed film will be ready to compete with Stree 2 in theatres with its release on 15 August. The film features John Abraham, Sharvari, Abhishek Banerjee and Tamannaah Bhatia. Before this we saw John Abraham collaborating with Nikhil Advani in Satyamev Jayate and Batla House.
Vedaa tells the story of a resilient young woman fighting against an unjust system. On her way she is guided by Abhimanyu, played by John Abraham. The film is packed with high end action and thrill. The film also has a subtle blend of patriotism and emotions in it. Surely, Independence Day is perfect for its release. John Abraham fans seem eager for the return of their favourite action hero after they saw him in Pathan last year. The makers and actors of the film have made it official on their social media handles and the trailer would be released tomorrow i.e 1 August.
Earlier the movie was in the news for a public statement released by the makers. Their plea was the unwarranted delay in getting certification for the film from Central Board of Film Certification. Finally, it has been heard and they are ready to bring Vedaa on big screens. How well the film fares in terms of the storyline and performances would only be revealed in its due time.
