The Rotten Tomatoes score for Dune: Part Two has been made public as reviewers offer their thoughts ahead of the film’s release date. The sequel scored 97% upon launch, a significant increase over the 83% of the first film.

Rotten Tomatoes ratings for Dune: Part Two, the 2021 film’s sequel, have significantly increased. The film’s emphasis on world-building and its challenges with Herbert’s voluminous source material are responsible for the significant leap. Conversely, Dune: Part Two jumps right into Herbert’s second half of the book and reaches its spectacular finale.

Chani Zendaya has more screen time in the follow-up, which enhances both her acting and her relationship with Chalamet. The film’s success is further enhanced by the casting of Austin Butler as the antagonist Feyd-Rautha, who sets new records for Rotten Tomatoes scores.
