Whatever might be the inside thing, the fact is that the Bollywood superstar got 144 days remission from his jail sentence for the good behaviour while serving his jail term. So he is coming out very soon.
There had been a talk that Sanjay Dutt may get extra punishment for not reporting in time after his last furlough. But the jail authorities put the blame that it is their fault not to take the decision in time regarding extension of his furlough.
