Aadi Saikumar is set to headline the upcoming Pan-India divine mystery thriller Aadi Rudrra, which is being planned on a large scale. The project marks Production No. 3 for Trishul Entertainments, produced by Prashanth G Rudrappa with a substantial budget.
Navarrasan is helming the project, handling the story, screenplay and direction. Set against a historical timeline between 1960 and 1990, the narrative explores themes of divinity, faith, spirituality and supernatural mysteries.
The makers have finalised Aadi Rudrra as the film’s title, considering its relevance to the script. Aadi Saikumar will be performing action sequences and is preparing for the role. The makers have also indicated that his look and physical transformation will be among the film’s notable aspects. The team has brought together an experienced technical crew for the project.
Ajaneesh Loknath is composing the music for the film. Aadi Rudrra is planned for release in five languages: Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam. The team is currently completing pre-production formalities, with regular shooting scheduled to begin in January.
