Following the success of Balagam, National Award-winning filmmaker Venu Yeldandi is working on his next project, Yellamma. Starring Devi Sri Prasad in the lead role, this devotional rural action drama is set to arrive in cinemas worldwide on March 5, 2027, during the pre-summer season.
Presented by Dil Raju and produced by Shirish under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, Yellamma is being developed as a story rooted in rural life and cultural traditions.
A key aspect of the film is Devi Sri Prasad’s transition from music composer to lead actor. He is also composing the music for the project, taking on both acting and music responsibilities.
The makers unveiled DSP’s first look as Parshi on his birthday. The poster shows him in a simple, natural appearance, offering a glimpse of his character.
Yellamma is scheduled for a pan-India release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada.
