Prabhas’s Adipurush started off on a good note at the box office. The film is holding particularly well in the Hindi segment which is a very positive sign.
Adipurush has reportedly grossed in the range of Rs 140 crores on its opening day worldwide with a bumper Rs 36.5 crore opening in the Hindi belt, which is the third highest for an Indian film after Covid.

In Nizam region, the film opened on a non-RRR record note. In AP, there aren’t any new records. As a whole, in AP and Telangana, the numbers are pretty decent.
In the USA, the film is trending on a decent note with the Telugu and Hindi version contributing almost equally. On Friday, it collected $472K.

Prabhas’s stardom has worked the trick to a good extent here. The bookings look relatively encouraging over the weekend, which is a positive sign again
With no star hero film in vicinity, Adipurush banked on the void in the Telugu states and started off well here. The Hindutva mood and positive last minute surge have helped it big time in the northern belt.

On the whole, this is a positive start for Adipurush and given the huge stakes that are involved, it needs to have a strong opening weekend at the box office.
