Earlier, there was a slipup with regard to the Hindi release of the first part, Akhanda. A delayed release in Hindi meant that the buzz evaporated. While the Telugu version released on 2 December 2022, the Hindi version released later in January.
Akhanda’s clippings were madly carried by the North Indian folk as the Hindutva touch struck a chord with them. Had the film released simultaneously in Hindi, it could have cashed in on the Hindutva wave and might have posted reasonable numbers. But that opportunity slipped up.

However, Akhanda should have gotten enough exposure up North with the OTT release. This could lay a perfect foundation for the second part that commenced today.
If Akhanda 2 strikes in Hindi, it could open up new avenues for Balayya up North as well. With the Nandamuri hero having completely revamped his strategizing, consistent success has added to his image. If he can deliver a winner with Akhanda 2 that works reasonably well in pan India markets, then it could mean a big deal for Balayya.
