Akhil Akkineni had been one of the prospective talents in Telugu cinema for a while now but he had been struggling to live up to the full potential of his acting capacities and also the commercial reach.
So, it was only fair that he pinned a lot on Lenin which had a lot riding on it at a fundamental level. Akhil was not just fully confident about the film but he was at the point where he it was one of his last gasp efforts to hit the bullseye at any cost.
The lucky thing for Akhil is that he appears to have gained what he wanted and perhaps deserved as well.
The film is a reasonable success at the ticket counters and it also fulfilled the gaps that Akhil earlier had with regard to the acting capacity as well. So he was able to deliver at an actor level and also at a commercial prospect level which is exactly what he wanted.
Akhil had been silently going through a lot earlier and that reflected in the baggage that he was carrying with an underperforming recent filmography. But he appears to be finally kicking where it matters the most and he should be a relieved man as well.
