Akhil and Nithin’s friendship is a known thing to everyone in the industry. As Nithin is producing Akhil’s movie, the duo chilling out together and being in touch regularly is a natural thing. But Akhil says that not even a day passes without calling Nithin or Nithin calling him.

Nithin and Akhil connected well five years back in Seychelles. He looks after Akhil like a brother and corrects him whenever he goes wrong. Many have a doubt why didn’t Nagarjuna launch his son himself through his home banner Annapurna Studios and why did he choose Sudhakar Reddy/Nithin to produce his son’s launch movie.
Akhil explains that they have developed rapport when he directed the ‘Manam’ script to Akkineni family and introduced director Vikram right for an Akkineni family. ‘Our trust and bond grew with Sudhakar Reddy and we felt grateful because he brought such a great film for us,’ says Akhil.
