Usually, when a South film works well on OTT, the actors associated with get a lot of good coverage on social media. This was recently observed in the case of Rukmini Vasanth of Sapta Sagaralu fame and then Mamitha Baiju of Premalu fame.
Now, there is a new entry to the list in the form of Preity Mukhundhan who recently shot to fame with Tamil film Star which premiered on Amazon Prime Video. The film got a decent reach and as for Preity, she managed to attract the youth.
Then, there was a viral song featuring the young actress which is also going viral. Her dance moves have caught the attention here.
The social media hype is firmly on Preity now as the Telugu Twitter space is urging filmmakers to cast the cute-looking beauty for a Telugu film sooner or later.
For a fact, the actress does look good and she was even seen in Sree Vishnu’s Om Bheem Bhush but she didn’t get any recognition there.
While there is some evident vacuum in Telugu cinema now with Krithi Shetty and Sree Leela fading out, it has to be seen which young and budding beauty will grasp the opportunity and make the most of it.
Preity does have South Indian face cuts that could cater to the youth but she needs that one cracking Telugu film like what Uppena was for Krithi. But nevertheless, such winning opportunities don’t come along too often. Her sample size is also very low for now and she needs that one film that clicks in Telugu if she really is to match the social media hype.
