Avatar 2 is registering an excellent hold in Southern part of India as it could be collecting over Rs 250 crores in its full run here.
The film has collected a whopping Rs 75 crores in the Telugu states which is the most for an English film here. The Tamil Nadu collections are at Rs 50 crores.
Avatar 2 will end up as the biggest English grosser in South Indian market, beating Avengers: End Game. This will be a mighty achievement for the James Cameron directorial which opened to just moderate reviews.
The surprisingly good run in the South Indian market will help Avatar 2 reach Rs 400 crores collection in the Indian market.
The film has also clocked the $1 billion mark worldwide and it took 14 days to achieve this feat which is rather long when compared to End Game which did it in 5 days.
As things stand, the film is getting a long run at the global box office and it is expected to go big in the days to come as well.
