Actor Venu shot to fame as a director with Balagam which turned out to be a super hit at the box office and later had a great run on OTT.
Now, Venu is penning his new script for his second directorial venture and we are hearing interesting news about the same.
As per the latest reports, Venu’s second script is based on a rural Telangana native who is a traditional drum artist and later goes on to become a collector. It is going to be a coming of age social drama in Telangana backdrop.
Apparently, Venu wants to rope in a big league actir for this film. He is hoping to impress a mainstream hero with his script and bring him on-board.
But this is going to be a challenge as onboarding a mainstream hero with a story of a traditional artist in Telangana backdrop and later going to become a collector is not to easy. Convincing a mid range hero with this offbeat subject is going to need some doing.
With the success of Balagam in his backpack, Venu should be trying his best to convince a mainstream actor. Will that be possible? We shall wait and see.
