He is Bollywood cinema’s biggest star and has been working right as part of Hindi film industry for well over four and half decades now. For a major part of his career Amitabh Bachchan has been banned by the media and hence the star felt no need to promote his films. They all worked on its merit and did well tremendously. Things have now changed dramatically when compared to those days and stars are required to promote their films aggressively. It is in this context that Big B was asked why he doesn’t promote his films like Khan’s, especially Aamir Khan to which the veteran star replied that he isn’t as intelligent as him.
Amitabh Bachchan after a long gap will be seen in a new film called Shamitabh. It releases on February 6. Shamitabh is directed by R Balki and will also have Dhanush in an important role besides him.
