It has been nearly two months since we have seen a big-budget Telugu film release in Andhra Pradesh. Films such as Yevadu and Attarantiki Daaredhi, which were scheduled to be released were postponed to an unknown further date.
However, it is believed that post Dasara, the industry won’t have any problems with respect to release. Producer N.V Prasad of Film Chamber believes that the festival season will usher good time for all big-ticket Telugu films. He believes by Dasara all the agitation in the state should have been subsided.
Let’s hope that at least by Dasara all the problems are settled and we get to see some big-budget films. Films such as Yevadu, Bhai and Attarantiki Daaredhi are all ready to release, but they are awaiting green signal from protesting parties in the state.
