Most production houses become bankrupt and go extinct if they deliver a couple of big flops. But there’s one banner that has been delivering flop after flop since their last 30 films and still surviving and also investing in a lot more films in the next few months.
Yes, we are talking about Bhushan Kumar’s banner, T-series. In the last three years, they have produced around 30 films, and except for three films, all of them have been flops or washouts. It’s a mystery where they are getting money to invest in so many flops.
The biggest flops among them are Radhe Shyam, Vikram Vedha, Mumbai Saga, Shehzada, Cirkus, Bholaa, Ek Villain Returns, and the list goes on. The only three hit films are Tanhaji, Bhool Bhulaiya 2, and Drishyam 2. Tu Jhooti Main Makkar was one of the films that turned out to be an average fare at the box office.
Their latest film, Adipurush, has done well over the first weekend with a collection of over 100 crores net in Hindi. But the huge Monday drop suggests that it might not turn out to be a hit film. The film might do better in its second weekend, though.
T-series is next coming up with Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, which looks promising.
