In Southern film industry there is senior batch of stars that includes the likes of Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Kamal Haasan Mammotty and Mohan Lal. Then there are the younger set and a very younger set of stars which we all like and know very much about.

The younger stars are no weakling when compared to the senior stars. They are on par with them, some of them even cross them regularly. But when it comes to Bollywood it’s the senior stars who are still ruling the roost, especially the three Khans. The trade is happy with the way these stars films perform but it also highlights how poor the rest of the lot is.
Hrithik Roshan could have been that star to compete with Khans but he seems to have lost the path. Abhishek Bachchan never picked up. Among the very younger lot Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh are still trying to gain solid fan base in masses that could give them consistent top openings. Unlike other film industries where younger lot are dominant, in Bollywood the trade is still looking to find that big mass star from these new generations. It makes the industry by default the worst one in terms of Young stars.
