Director Boyapati Srinu is set to team up with Nandamuri Balakrishna for the fourth time for the highly anticipated sequel Akhanda 2. The film is planned to be produced on a grand scale, promising an even bigger spectacle than its predecessor.

Recent reports indicate that filming will commence in September 2024, with pre-production activities currently underway.

An intriguing speculation has emerged within industry circles: Boyapati Srinu has reportedly chosen Harshavardhan Rameshwar to compose the music for Akhanda 2, replacing Thaman, who scored the original film.

Thaman’s sensational background music was a standout feature of Akhanda, playing a crucial role in its blockbuster success. His score elevated many scenes to an epic level, creating an unforgettable experience for audiences. It was widely regarded as one of his best works.

This makes Boyapati’s decision to bring in Harshavardhan Rameshwar all the more surprising.

Harshavardhan’s scintillating work on the background music for Animal received unanimous praise and was one of the film’s biggest USPs. He also won the Filmfare award for Best Background Score for Animal. He is undoubtedly a talented technician.
