Chakkora – Lunar Love Bird is one of the upcoming Telugu films attempting to present romance in a different manner. The film, featuring Shravan and Malaika T Vasupal, has now officially introduced its title through a motion poster unveiled by director Puri Jagannadh.
The project gains additional interest with Manga Srinivas making his directorial debut. Srinivas previously worked with Puri Jagannadh as a First Assistant Director, and the veteran filmmaker coming forward to launch the title motion poster marks a significant beginning for the newcomer. Dr. Chintada Hemarao is producing the film under the High Joy Commercials banner in association with VIP Vintage Iconic Pictures.
The team is positioning Chakkora as a love story that moves away from familiar romantic formulas. The makers are confident that the film will offer a different emotional experience to audiences. Prince Henry is composing the music, while popular lyricists Ramajogayya Sastry and Kasarla Shyam have penned songs. T-Series will be releasing the audio.
The film has an extensive supporting cast featuring several familiar faces, including Suman, Brahmaji, Indraja and L.B. Sriram. With October 8 set as the planned theatrical release date, the upcoming promotional material will be crucial in revealing what makes Chakkora different from other contemporary romantic films.
