The Telugu film industry saw a fierce fight between the panels of Dil Raju and C Kalyan for the Telugu Film Producers Council in February. But Dil Raju’s panel registered a one-sided victory. Back then, many dubbed the victory as Guild’s takeover of the Producers Council.
Now, it is time for the elections of the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce. This time the President’s post will go to the Producers’ Sector. And it is going to be another war between C Kalyan and Dil Raju.
M9News has contacted C Kalyan about it and he confirmed participating in the election. Dil Raju has discussed with the Producers of Guild and decided to contest.
July 14th is the last date for nominations and the withdrawals are allowed until July 21st.
The voting will happen on July 30th and the results will be out on the same day.
If Dil Raju wins this election as well, the takeover of the industry bodies by the active producers will be complete.
C Kalyan says Dil Raju‘s panel failed to bring any positive change after the council elections and that is going to be his election agenda.
