Naga Chaitanya has been delivering colossal disasters for some time now. Though there were no expectations from Thank You, a lot was expected from Custody. But both films didn’t satisfy even the minimum expectations.
GA 2 banner is also going through a slump, as most of the films produced under the banner have turned out to be flops. Chaavu Kaburu Challaga and Pakka Commercial were washouts.
Director Chandoo Mondeti was also suffering from a similar phase, but his last film, Karthikeya 2, turned out to be a pan-India blockbuster and changed Mondeti’s fate. He has been riding high after the success of the film.
Now GA2 and Naga Chaitanya are teaming up for a big-budget pan-India film to be directed by Chandoo Mondeti. The film is a period love story with a lot of twists and turns. Chay plays the role of a boatman in the movie. Keerthy Suresh is almost finalized as the heroine, though an official confirmation is awaited.
It is expected that Chay and GA 2 are banking on Chandoo Mondeti’s talent and luck for this film. The success of this film is crucial for all three of them, and they want to make this film an unforgettable one in their careers.
