Incidentally, Naga Chaitanya attended the premieres of Boys Hostel, a Telugu dub of a Kannada film. Usually, when stars of Chay’s stature attend the premieres event, they quickly walk away without watching.
But as for Chay, he sat down to watch the film and completed the entire first half. Then came the twist. In the interval, the trailer for Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha’s Kushi was played. This is an unusual development, given Chay’s presence there and how uncomfortable for him to watch Samantha on screen.
The operator quickly realized the mistake and cut short the Kushi trailer after a couple of scenes and then played Salaar’s teaser.
However, Chay walked out of the premieres after the incident. This happened right after the trailer mishap and those who were there at the time of the occurrence felt Chay might be irked with the incident. But there’s also the possibility of him having some other work and having to leave.
