Megastar Chiranjeevi can give run for money to young actors even now. With his physical fitness to charms and arresting screen presence on the silver screen, Chiranjeevi has all the qualities in him.
Chiranjeevi has regaled audiences with his electrifying dance moves and daredevil fight scenes, but it is not often that we get to listen to him in a song. Well, this feat was achieved by director Suresh Krishna who directed Chiranjeevi in Master film, 1997.
Chiranjeevi had stunned the audience back then by crooning a song, ‘Are Thammudu’. While the song was a hit, many are unaware of the backstory that went behind in convincing Chiranjeevi. Suresh Krishna reveals that the song would have no special status had it been sung by Hariharan or SP Balasubrahmanyam.
“I convinced Chiranjeevi to lend his voice stating it would be just like a dialogue delivery and very easy to go. Chiranjeevi was very hesitant, in fact reluctant but I forcefully took him to the recording studio and asked him to sing. He was hesitant but as we progressed he enjoyed it too,” recounts Suresh Krishna.
On the work front, Chiranjeevi will be seen in Acharya and then he has a Lucifer remake and a film with KS Ravindra and Meher Ramesh.
