Once it was Brahmanandam who used to carry many films on his shoulders and pull crowds to theaters. Of late, it’s Prudhvi who is shining with his comedy and carrying a film’s burden on his shoulders. Take the case of the recently released teaser of Gopichand’s ‘Shouryam’. That one shot at the end of the trailer turned out to be great hit.

Prudhvi is seen in Baahubali’s ‘Shiva’ avatar performing the scene in which he will be lifting a shivalingam (the idol of Shiva). Though this shot comes at the end of the trailer for only a couple of seconds, it went viral online and of course, Prudhvi is receiving huge applause for his Baahubali act.
Prudhvi is in the industry since long. But only recently Prudhvi’s stars started shining and is replacing Brahmi in carrying the flow of an entire movie with his comedy like he did in the recently released ‘Shankarabharanam’. In ‘Shouryam’, the comedian is playing a ‘born star’ whose films flop big way and who keeps imitating hit scenes from super hit movies.
