Ace filmmaker Dasari Naryana Rao has directed nearly 150 films in his illustrious career so far. He has worked all the superstars of yesteryear and many would be still willing to work with him if he decided to direct again. The latest buzz is that he is planning to direct a biopic on Khan Abdul Jaffar, an important person in our country’s freedom movement.
He has apparently approached megastar Amitabh Bachchan for the role and rumour has it that the latter has expressed interest in the project but hasn’t confirmed or given dates yet. At his age, Big B is already taking too much pressure by juggling between films and TV. While he is busy shooting for Balki’s film Shamitabh with Dhanush, he is also awaiting the start of his television debut Yuddh. With so much on his plate already, we wonder if he would really be interesting in doing a biopic on a freedom struggle character.
While we still await confirmation on this news by Dasari, it would be interesting to see if this project takes shape or not. Let’s leave this to destiny and wait to find out if it happens or not.
