Things have turned topsyturvy for Devi Sri Prasad and Thaman. Devi has been the first choice music director for stars for many years. But then, his career is on a decline. At the same time, Thaman used to confine himself to medium-budget films with occasional star films.
Now, everything has changed. Thaman has become the first pick for the stars. He has biggies like Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Pawan Kalyan – Rana’s movie (Ayyappanum Koshiyum Remake), Mahesh Babu – Trivikram’s new film, Balakrishna’s Akhanda, and Shankar – Ram Charan’s #RC15.

At the same time, Devi has confined himself to working with medium-range films. He recently signed Ram Pothineni – Linguswamy’s action drama, Sharwanand’s Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu. Until DSP’s stars change with Pushpa, both of them will end up swapping their roles.
