When kissing and making out sequences have become very common even in South Films, it has really become a rare feat for the film makers to get an ‘U’Certificate for their films from the Censor Board. These days Censor Board is going very strict on filtering the content of movies and anything sensual and erotic or connected to politics in a film is fetching an ‘A’ or atleast an ‘UA’ certificate. Getting an clean ‘U’ has indeed become a rarity in Film Industry. But latest, Dhanush’s Tamil movie ‘VIP’ (Velaiyilla Pattathari) has been certified as an clean ‘U’ by the Censor Board.
Dhanush tweeted being super happy and excited for getting clean ‘U’ certificate by the Censor Board of Film Certification for his upcoming release. VIP is going to hit screens on 18th July. While Amala Paul is playing Dhanush’s love interest, Samuthirakhani and Saranya Ponnvannan will be seen in supporting roles for the movie. This would be the first release of Amala Paul post her marriage with director Vijay though she shot for the film prior to her wedding. And one more speciality of the movie is that it marks the 25th movie of Dhanush in the Film Industry.
