Superstar Rajnikanth’s son-in-law, Dhanush’s father Kastoori Raja is alleged to have borrowed Rs. 65 lakhs from one financier Mukund Botra for one of his films he produced. After failing to pay the amount to Botra, the financier approached court seeking Rajnikanth’s interference in the matter.

How would the superstar fit into the entire process? According to Botra, Kastoori Raja gave a written assurance that Rajnikanth would repay the money in case he fails to give back his money as Dhanush is married to superstar’s daughter Soundarya.
After filing several complaints on Dhanush’s father at various levels, Botra even approached Supreme Court to file a special leave petition. He finally got Madras High Court to issue a notice to superstar Rajnikanth who earlier alleged that Botra is misusing his name in the issue he is in no way concerned.
