Did Nithya know about OAT’s result?

Everyone was quite surprised when they found out that Nithya was no where to be seen during the promotions of Oka Ammayi Thappa. Except for the audio launch, Nithya was missing from the action completely.

Now that the film is released, we get to know why she was not seen during the release time. An industry source revealed that Nithya was paid big bucks for the film and she was made the selling point of the film.

Also, being a star actress she is, Nithya knew the fate of the film while she was dubbing for the film itself. So keeping all this in consideration, she cleverly avoided the promotions and did not even bother to promote the film and get associated with it.
