Megastar’s next, Vishwambhara, has been rumored to have a connection with the classic Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari. While the filmmakers have not made any official confirmation of this, Vyjayanthi Movies posted something that hinted at holding the rights to the classic.
Adding to the speculation, Chiranjeevi fans now believe there is a link between Vishwambhara and another iconic film, Khaidi.

The speculation arose after director Mallidi Vassishta shared a video clip from Khaidi on social media. The clip features Chiranjeevi standing in front of the Kondapalli village board, contemplating his next move.
The iconic scene has sparked discussions among fans, with some suggesting a similar moment might be included in Vishwambhara. Others believe the scene could have inspired certain sequences in the film.

A few even speculate that the new schedule of Vishwambhara might start with an action episode similar in tone.
Some also criticized that it is high time directors stopped using old Chiranjeevi movies to hype the new ones. Fans don’t want vintage Chiranjeevi now. In the name of vintage Chiru, directors have dished out films like Waltair Veerayya and Bhola Shankar.

Originally planned for a Sankranti release, Vishwambhara was postponed, reportedly to avoid clashing with Game Changer. Moreover, after receiving extremely negative reactions to the teaser, the team decided to enhance the visual effects significantly, causing further delays.
The production team has yet to confirm when the final shoot will be completed or announce the new release date. For now, the connection between Vishwambhara and these cult classics remains speculative, leaving fans eagerly awaiting more clarity.
