AA Films, under the leadership of Anil Thadani, specializes in distributing Hindi-dubbed films across North India.

The collaboration between Karan Johar and Anil Thadani has been a winning formula, as seen with the blockbuster success of Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. Thadani also distributed the KGF series and Kantara.

Despite disastrous word-of-mouth, films like Liger saw strong openings in the North, thanks to AA Films’ robust distribution network.

Now, Anil Thadani’s AA Films has acquired the Hindi-language distribution rights for four highly anticipated southern Indian titles in 2024: Pushpa: The Rule – Part 2, Game Changer, Kalki 2898 AD, and Devara. These films, originally in Telugu, will be released across India and beyond in multiple languages.

Thadani believes these films, with their significant budgets, star-studded casts, and acclaimed directors, have the potential to make cinematic history.

He emphasizes how these films can transcend regional barriers, appealing to a broader audience across India and leaving a lasting cultural impact.

Previously, Thadani’s acquisition of such projects occurred once every two or three years. However, this time, he has secured the distribution rights for not just one or two, but four significant pan-India films set to release in the same year.

He is expanding his portfolio of acquiring pan-India films. An increase in quantity may always raise concerns about potential failures. It is not easy to distribute and release 4 huge pan-India films within a span of 6 months.

It remains to be seen which of these four movies will prove to be jackpots for Anil Thadani and which ones may bring him some heartbreaks.
