Popular cinematographer Shamdat who made his directorial debut with Mammotty’s Malayalam movie Street Lights is now making his Telugu directorial entry with a psychological thriller titled Don’t Sleep. The film stars Chaurya Paatham actor Indhra Raam in a lead role that revolves around fear, memory, and disorientation.
Unveiled today by Vijay Sethupathi, the first-look poster generates inquisitiveness. It depicts Indhra Raam with closed eyes and a bandaged forehead, while Ravindra Vijay storms across mountains with a gun- suggesting a tense manhunt steeped in psychological complexity. The tagline, “The longer you sleep, the closer he gets,” heightens the intrigue.
Produced by V Chudamani under the V Dream Films banner, the film brings together a formidable technical lineup. Shamdat is also handling the cinematography, with music composed by Gokul Harshan.
With reputed Malayalam technicians supporting the project, Don’t Sleep promises an intense blend of craft and suspense. The theatrical release is expected soon.
