Actor Dhanush will have two back-to-back releases next month as his films “Anegan” and “Shamitabh” will hit the marquee within the span of a week. While Dhanush’s Tamil romantic-drama “Anegan”, which is directed by K.V Anand, will release Feb 6, his Hindi film “Shamitabh” with K. Balakrishnan, will release Feb 13.
Director K.V Anand confirmed the release of “Anegan”, which will release as Anekudu in Telugu on his Twitter page recently. It is said to be a love story set against different eras, and Dhanush will be playing multiple characters. He is paired with “Issaq” fame Amyra Dastur in the film. Post the success of Raghuvaran B Tech, sources say Dhanush has said to have taken special interest in Telugu audiences and that’s why is planning on dubbing all his film going forward.
In “Shamitabh”, Dhanush has teamed up for the first time with megastar Amitabh Bachchan and debutant Akshara Haasan. The film is said to be based on the story of an actor and his dubbing artist.
