As expected, Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s latest release Duvvada Jagannadham has opened to record-breaking numbers. It is the biggest opener of the star by a distance. Sarrainodu was Allu Arjun’s previous best at around 10.7 Cr.

(18 Cr+ share) has beaten Bollywood Megastar Salman Khan’s Tubelight (21 Cr Nett) opening in India. But, one guesses this was not enough for the team of DJ and hence the controversy.
Once again there are allegations of “tampering” and “fake” reporting of collections. Few areas have come under harsh criticism for the number the makers have come up with. The release and the occupancies don’t match with the final number which is over 18 Cr.
In the recent past, two big films were similarly under the scanner. With DJ also making it to the same list and few more biggies slated to come in the coming months, the trade is fearing the dirty numbers war that lies ahead.
