Here is a latest example of what film makers have to go through these days. A Muslim group issued Fatwa against top music director AR Rahman because he is the music composer of the film ‘Muhammad.’ This film is being directed by popular Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi who earlier directed Children of Heaven.

The Muslim group issued Fatwa against all the actors involved in the movie said they are against the title and people may see it in bad light. And if the movie is not received well by the audience it is an insult to the Prophet said Raza Academy head Saeed Noorie.
The Fatwa also says Muslims to protest against the movie within the ‘legal’ limits until a decision of the ban on film is officially announced. They are also planning to meet Home Minister and other officials to discuss about banning the film.
