The stars of Fidaa, actor Varun Tej and heroine Sai Pallavi will be locking horns with each other at the box office later in the year. The makers of the respective films have announced December 21 as the release date.

The Varun Tej starrer which is yet to be titled is a space adventure flick. Sankalp Reddy of Ghazi fame directs the movie. The Sai Pallavi starrer is Padi Padi Leche Manasu that has Sharwanand in the lead. Hanu Raghavapudi directs this unique love story set in the Kolkata backdrop.
Sai Pallavi’s last commercial release was also a Christmas release that arrived in competition with Akhil. She had an in-form Nani then and now has Sharwanand, similarly. The clash turned out to be one-sided. Will it be the same case this time or will Varun Tej deliver with the space thriller? The contest makes the Christmas exciting for Telugu movie lovers.
