TFCC Secretary KL Damodar Prasad expressed concerns about the event’s poor organization, citing issues with hospitality, travel arrangements, unpaid bills, and power supply disruptions. The TFCC called for appropriate actions to preserve the industry’s pride and reputation.

A reporter revealed that Kannada celebrities were disrespected during the awards ceremony. Lights were switched off when Ramesh Aravind took the stage. Many Kannada actors faced difficulties during checkout due to unpaid dues.

Netizens expressed anger over the alleged disrespect towards the Kannada industry. Calls for industry solidarity and boycotts of such events in the future circulated on social media.

Producer Allu Aravind distanced the Telugu film industry and his family from the controversy, emphasizing that the responsibility for the event rested solely on Suresh Kondeti. He clarified that the family’s association with Kondeti did not imply endorsement or representation.

Suresh Kondeti issued an apology, acknowledging a communication gap during the event and expressing regret for any inconvenience caused.
